Inspiring Image
I was checking on the updates on my Facebook account this morning when I found an image posted on a friend’s wall. An inspiring image that shows lovers in which the girl lies on her boyfriend’s chest (first image) and the boy lies on his girlfriend’s lap (second image). Slice of Life: Polio Vaccination
When I was young, government health workers used to visit different barangays to conduct measles and polio vaccination for children. Vaccination was my primary cause of phobia; when health workers visited our classroom (I was in first grade) to bug us with their protruding syringes, I pretended to be courageous LOL. I remember my classmate Francis (the smallest boy in the class) had hid in the comfort room hahaha!
Guys, I feature Larry Alcala’s Slice of Life titled Polio Vaccination. You can see a typical scenario in a rural community during polio vaccination; of course, Alcala’s mixed wit and humor makes the comic strip extremely funny.
